The Legend of the Last Cedar King
The term
Cedar King comes from mid 20th century Australia, but the tree they
call Cedar is not related to the cedars of Europe and North America.
The Australian Red Cedar is a rare rainforest tree whose prized
wood is worth more, pound for pound, than even gold. When all the
easy trees were gone, the men they called the Cedar Kings braved
the wild mountain country to find the last trees. When the last
trees fell, the Cedar Kings turned to other occupations until there
was only one left. old Bill.
At the request of the granddaughter of the real
Cedar King the page is be revised to reflect the real history of
Bill.
Please come back at a later date.
Thank you.
