The commonest kind of lorikeet is the spectacular Rainbow Lorikeet. Sweet was a Scaly breasted Lorikeet - green and yellow all over except under the wings where she had lovely salmon pink markings. She was a cheeky bird with a great sense of humour. She loved to sit on my shoulder and hide under my hair.
